As soon as we see a costume from the new Fantastic Four for the first time, there is already a lot of discussion on the Internet.
Actually, Deadpool & Wolverine is currently the focus of Marvel. Fans have been waiting for the third film in the series for a long time, but after many years the project has now landed in cinemas. Accordingly, we have already reported in detail on the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
But what comes after Deadpool 3? Well, at least one of the future projects is causing a stir at D23. Little by little, new material on the comeback of the Fantastic Four is coming to light. The costume design in particular has caused some criticism on Twitter.
When will Fantastic Four be in theaters?
Marvel fans will have to be a little patient until Fantastic Four hits theaters. The third attempt to establish the brand in theaters is set to debut on July 24, 2025. Hollywood stars like Pedro Pascal were already signed up for the potential blockbuster some time ago.
The D23 gave the film’s marketing a further boost. During the Disney Expo, some new images from the project leaked out. We’ve already reviewed a few of them. However, one particular costume seems to be heating up tempers these days.
Johnny Storm’s costume
In the latest film adaptation of the Fantastic Four, Joseph Quinn will be seen as Johnny Storm , better known as the Human Torch. In the promo material for the project during D23, Quinn was seen in the costume of Johnny Storm. Comparisons were quickly drawn to other interpretations of the character in the Marvel universe.
The Twitter account MCU Report promptly pulled up screenshots from two other Marvel films. If you don’t want to know which films the character will appear in, we would like to issue a spoiler warning here. Both
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as well as Deadpool & Wolverine are compared with the latest image. In a poll under the post, Joseph Quinn’s costume didn’t do too badly.
29.3 percent preferred his look, while 33.5 percent voted for Chris Evans and 37.3 percent for John Krasinski. All in all, it remains to be seen how not only the outfits will perform on the big screen. There is still about a year of speculation, trailers and discussions between this discussion and the release.
